Proud club coach Juan Carlos Lion said: “With swimmers ageing from nine through to 15 years old having qualifying for numerous events, this was a really a great achievement for our club.

All-rounder Hewitt, who has also been on top form cycling form over the past few years, has been offering his expertise and kindly providing land and circuit training sessions to swimmers throughout the week.
This has helped to give the swimming club’s members the added stamina, strength and flexibility needed for the pool.
Lino added: “Our swimmers achieved many personal best swims over the weekend at Ponds Forge and can be very proud of themselves, especially Joseph Moment, who is only nine years old, and was a finalist in the 50 metres backstroke race.”
