Whitby Cricket Club’s Women & girls team in top gear thanks to sponsors Vitty’s Cottages

Whitby CC men’s first-team skipper Kai Morris said: “As a club we’re really grateful to Vitty’s Cottages who’ve sponsored our women and girls team over the last couple of years, a partnership we hope will continue long into the future.

“It’s been brilliant to see so many women and girls involved at the club and enjoying the game. They compete in a league with other local clubs, usually on a Sunday afternoon.

"The games are played with a softball with an emphasis on enjoyment and development.

"Any women or girls interested in getting involved should contact the club directly, manager Ricky Hall or captain Roseanna Hall.​”
