A170 blocked at Sutton Bank due to stranded HGV
The A170 is currently blocked at Sutton Bank after a HGV blocked both sides of the carriageway.
Roads Policing Sgt Paul Cording BEM shared pictures of the incident on X (formerly Twitter) with the message: “**Traffic Alert** The A170 at SuttonBank is currently blocked due to a stranded HGV and is likely to remain so throughout the morning rushour.
"Please avoid the area & seek an alternative route whilst we deal with this incident.”
