Letter: Made a saving but paid price with parking
Our bill is usually £200 plus.
Lidl have been sending us leaflets telling of weekly offers and low prices. So we would save money, we gave the Seamer Road store a try.
We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of the goods on offer and explored all the aisles.

We had spent £168, so felt pleased with our visit and savings.
A week later we received a parking penalty of £90 saying we had spent 10 minutes too long in Lidl car park.
If we paid within 14 days this fine would be ‘discounted’ to £45!

We have paid the £45 but will probably not visit Lidl again.
