Cheltenham delight for ex-Boro star Outhart
Scarborough racehorse owner Tony Outhart had a day to remember at Cheltenham Festival yesterday.
The former Scarborough FC winger, 56, is part of the Racing for Fun partnership of eight friends that owns Lisnagar Oscar, which won the Paddy Power Stayers Hurdle at Cheltenham yesterday.
The 50-1 shot, which is trained by Rebecca Curtis and was ridden by Adam Wedge, saw off defending champion Paisley Park.
