Scarborough fire crew called to road incident

A fire crew from Scarborough were called to a single vehicle road traffic incident last night.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service reported that, on arrival at 7.32pm yesterday, Wednesday, the crew found that the male occupant was out of the vehicle uninjured.

It transpired that the accident on Eastway, Eastfield occurred due to a suspension failure whilst driving down road.

The fire crew made the vehicle safe using small tools and left the incident with the police.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews attended multiple incidents to assist police and ambulance throughout the evening.

They also attended numerous fire alarms, all of which were false alarms.
