Ryedale dog trainer celebrates national league success

A Ryedale trainer and her dog has won a national award in a agility competition.

Jill Ward and Skye Like Tyke (Milo), from Sinnington, have won an award in the prestigious Agility Club’s Agility Leagues for 2019.

The Agility Club is the oldest organisation in the world solely dedicated to the sport of dog agility and the leagues have been part of the club’s offering for more than 30 years.

Points secretary of the club, Nicola Ayres, said: “To be crowned the top handler and dog team in any of the leagues is an incredible achievement.

“Skye Like Tyke has done incredibly well to be crowned the winner of the Grade 2 League with 668 points.”
