We take a look at 17 dogs and cats that are looking for their forever home at the RSPCA York, Harrogate and District branch…
13. Douglas
Douglas is a 14-month-old German Shepherd Crossbreed who came to the centre as his previous owner could no longer meet his needs. He is a great dog who is extremely active, playful and intelligent. Douglas loves to play and loves his time out and about so he will need active adopters who can give him not only the physical exercise but also be able to keep him mentally stimulated. He has so much potential and really will make someone a very loyal and loving best friend. Photo: RSPCA
14. Milo
Milo is a 13-month-old Labrador Cross who came to the centre as his previous owner could not manage him. Milo is a super friendly chap but can be a little boisterous when he gets over excited. He had not had much basic training before he came to the centre but he is clever and eager to learn. Milo is an extremely active dog and will need a family who will take him on long and exciting adventures. He is a happy boy who lives life to the max and will make a super addition to the family. 15. Patrick
Patrick is a five-year-old domestic short haired who is a great guy that came to the centre via a local vet after he had been living his life as a street cat. Sadly he has not been treated too kindly by humans and this has left him quite nervous around people at the moment. However he has improved greatly since he was first rescued off the street and he is slowly learning to trust. Street cats really do have a tough life and Patrick really does deserve to be in a loving home where he will become a cherished member of the family. Photo: RSPCA
