Easter egg treats for Yorkshire NHS staff as companies come together to say 'thank you'
NHS staff across Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington have been given some tasty treats as a thank you for their hard work.
More than 1,000 staff from Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust were surprised with chocolate eggs thanks to donations from Waitrose, Wren Kitchens, Lindt and Morrisons.
A spokesperson for the trust said: "This is a wonderful, uplifting way to show our appreciation at this time.
"A big thank you to the retailers and voluntary delivery drivers for helping us make this happen and, of course, thank you to our staff for the crucial work they deliver every day."
