Letter: Flashing police lights ... but no justifcation?
However, on Sunday, February 19, at 7.30am, I was walking my dog near my home at Crossgates, when I witnessed three police cars travelling at high speed on the Filey Road towards Seamer near the junction of the Station Road. The first two were very close together and the third followed about a minute later. As they had come from the Eastfield area.
The following day I inquired of the media about any incident that might possibly have merited such a response. I have read this week’s edition (February 23) and there is nothing that could justify what I witnessed.

I consider that what I witnessed was dangerous and should be reported to the officer in charge.
Yet the police force website does not provide any information about it.
