Bridlington Leisure World - this is how it used to look
Bridlington's new £25million leisure centre has been one of the town's biggest success stories in recent years - but do you remember the old building?
We've found these photographs in the Free Press archives which show how things used to be before the massive redevelopment.
1. The seafront side
This was the view of the old building you used to get of Leisure World as you walked along the Promenade. But the glass panels were often covered in bird muck.
2. The slides
The old slides were not as high or as fast as the ones in the new centre.
3. Cafe Vibe
The old cafe did not have the range of food, or the lovely views of the bay, that the replacement does.
4. The gym
It's definitely not as well equipped or as spacious as the facilities in the new East Riding Leisure Bridlington building.
