Sometimes we don’t know what’s on our doorstep, so if you’ve not checked out The Forum for a while you could be in for some very pleasant surprises.

This huge entertainment centre has something to occupy the smallest member of your family – from giant inflatables in the bounce park to traditional amusements and games with children in mind, such as the two pence push machines – right up to the grown-ups who want to dance the night away to tunes from international DJs in The Lodge

Welcome to The Forum

A warm welcome awaits everyone at The Forum, one of the biggest buildings on the seafront. The venue is open all year round and, in winter when the tourists are away, it’s time for the locals to come out and play!

Prices drop in winter so you won’t be paying high season prices for your entertainment or drinks.

There’s so much to do under one roof at The Forum that it makes a great family day out, whatever the weather.

Family fun

As well as the children’s amusements and bounce park there is also a fantastic 10-pin bowling alley and a cinema which shows a range of films to appeal to the little ones to the grown-ups.

The bowling alley is the only full size one in Brid – and there are 10 lanes so it’s ideal for single games or for group or party bookings.

The bounce park is open to children aged four to 15 (adults can accompany children too). Spend two hours burning off some energy and bouncing ever higher on the giant inflatables, bouncy castles and obstacle courses. Adults can take a seat in the viewing area and let the older kids get on with their fun, whilst they relax with some refreshments. But there are also special kids and toddler sessions where the adults can join in for free with their little ones.

It’s also available for group bookings or parties.

Special needs

And for those youngsters with special educational needs there are quiet sessions in the bounce park, with no bright lights or music, but a calm atmosphere to enable anyone with extra sensitivities or needs to enjoy the space in a quieter atmosphere.

These SENS sessions take place on the first and third Sundays of every month at 10am.

Games for everyone

In the games area there are the seaside favourites like the good old 2p pushers as well as classic family gaming machines like Dance Stage or Aliens, there are pool tables and the latest in gaming and VR experiences.

You can pit your wits against the machines in a whole variety of ways, and win tokens to redeem for prizes – the more you win, the better the prizes!

There is also an over 18s only area with amusement and gaming machines strictly for the grownups.

Eating out

All that activity can work up an appetite. At The Lodge there is plenty of choice for food and drink. The Lodge is a restaurant and bar which serves food every day from 8.45am to 8.45pm. This rooftop venue has stunning views out to sea so you can make the most of this beautiful Yorkshire Coastline as you enjoy a beer or a cocktail, a cuppa or a meal.

Foodwise there is something for everyone with a varied menu that touches every continent from pizzas and burgers, to sharing platters, from traditional British pub grub to great value kids meals – kids eat free all day, every day (t&cs apply).

At night The Lodge becomes an entertainment nightspot with singers, DJs or variety acts which chance throughout the year. You could be dancing until 1am, riding a bucking bronco in the middle of the floor or (on December 18) digging out your ra-ra skirt and leg warmers for the ‘80s disco night!

Festive nights out

If you’re looking for a great night out with friends or family or something a little different for a works do, then look no further. The Forum is the perfect place to let your hair down and enjoy some classic seaside entertainment, good food and drink and great music, all under one roof.
