Langtoft based wildlife artist John Naylor opens his winter exhibition on December 12 at the Exchange, Driffield.
This year finally sees John producing some oils after using pastels for 34 years. It has been exciting for him to be using a new medium and his work is a reflection of his interest in both art and natural history. John continues to fly his Goshawk ‘Cracker’ alongside ‘Felty’ his German Wirehaired Pointer with ‘Chalky’ the ferret often pressed into service over the local countryside. This access to the outdoors allows John to be constantly inspired. The exhibition runs from 9.30am to 5pm Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 December. It features originals, prints and cards and admission is free.
