There was nostalgia abroad in the air at the regional premiere of Dad’s Army at the Spa Bridlington.
An Anderson shelter was built in the Royal Hall, there was a Land Girls exhibition and crooners singing war-time standards.

Also on hand was the George Formby Experience who gave the audience all the ukelele king’s hits - from Leaning on a Lamppost to Little Stick of Blackpool Rock.
