Burton Agnes Hall is daring visitors young and old to take part in a spooky pumpkin trail this half-term break.
The trail will take visitors on an eerie journey round the Hall’s woodland, where carved pumpkins will be hiding amongst the creaking trees and rustling bushes.
Each pumpkin will hold a clue and once the entire puzzle has been solved, a treat waits in the Hall - but visitors are advised to watch out for the giant spiders and creepy caterpillars hiding in the woodland trees!
After the excitement of the pumpkin trail visitors can relax and enjoy homemade meals, light bites and indulgent treats in the Courtyard Cafe, while the Gift Shop and Home & Garden Shop will be brimming with original gifts and the Food Store will be full of seasonal and Yorkshire-made produce. Visitors can also choose from a range of home grown plants all propagated from the gardens.
The Michaelmas Fair on the 29th and 30th October ends half-term week with a bustling street fair; a wide variety of intriguing stalls and an array of traditional street performances keep visitors entertained throughout the weekend.
The spooky pumpkin trail is from the 24th – 30th October and is designed for all the family to enjoy. There is no extra charge for the trail as it is included in the normal admission price and is free for season pass holders.
