Music duo Seafret – Jack Sedman and Harry Draper – are set to play a headliner hometown gig in the Bridlington Spa Royal Hall.
Vocalist Jack and guitarist Harry have played support at the venue and the sold-out its smaller space but this is their first appearance in the main auditorium.
“We’ve both been to gigs here and thought how amazing it would be to play the main stage – and now it’s happening,” said Harry. “It’s amazing and we can’t wait.”
Their gig is at the Spa on Monday February 8 at 7.30pm.
Spa general manager Andrew Aldis said: “A burst of ticket sales for the Jake Bugg gig in 2014 drew my attention to local duo Seafret.
“The announcement that they were to be the support act was met with delight by Bridlington concert-goers as it became very clear they had a substantial following.
“The lads returned in 2015 to play the Spa Theatre; we saw another enormous success so it’s with some pride we now have them headlining their own concert on the stage which has seen all the greats of music, the Spa Royal Hall.
“Seafret and their February concert are the embodiment of the greatness of Bridlington. Local musicians, great music, amazing world-class venue and an excited audience.”
