The East Riding of Yorkshire FYFC County Rally is to be held in the Driffield area this month on the 23 May at Cottam Warren Farm.
The County Rally, held annually, is the biggest event in the Young Farmers’ calendar with more than 1000 people attending. Almost 100 competitions will be held on the day with competitors from 15 clubs in the county competing in them. In the evening, the members and their friends will hold a big party in a shed at the farm.
The generous hosts of the rally this year are Mr and Mrs R Beevers. This year the County Rally is being organised by the Wolds Cluster, comprising of members from Brandesburton, Bridlington, Driffield and Muston YFCs. It is a fantastic tradition in Young Farmers that members organise all the fantastic dinner dances, parties, race nights and other events between themselves.
The opportunity for personal development in YFC is a great benefit of membership.
Members of the public are more than welcome to attend the event, in both the daytime and the night-time. The party in the evening is strictly over 18s only for non-members. Entry tickets can for both the day and the evening can be bought on the door, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
There will lots to see and do and it will be a great day out for all the family!
If you’ve never heard of Young Farmers before – this is a fantastic opportunity to see what it is all about!
