'No need to panic yet' insists Bridlington RUFC player-coach Mike Myerscough
Bridlington RUFC coach Mike Myerscough insists that it’s too early to panic as his side slipped to a 26-17 defeat at Pontefract, writes Charlie Hopper.
He said: “We started the game well but played too much rugby in our own 22.
“We continue to score points against teams but then we make errors in defence and it costs us.”
Brid sit second to bottom and host fifth place West Leeds on Saturday.
He added: “Every game is tough in this league and we will need to be at our best to win.
“We played well at their spot back in September and I hope that we can get over the line this time round.
“It’s too early to start panicking and I have full faith that we can turn this around.”
