A hat-trick of wins has sent Bridlington RUFC’s confidence sky-high ahead of this weekend’s derby clash against Scarborough.
The Dukes Park side hammered Yarnbury 47-5 on Saturday, following on from two home wins to kick off their Yorkshire One.
Scarborough have started the season well too, winning two of their opening matches and drawing the other.
Last weekend, they won 31-23 against West Park Leeds, a side Bridlington beat 36-10 on the first day.
Bridlington’s head coach Paul Cook said: “Scarborough this Saturday will be tough. We know they will come at us with intensity and we need to play at our best to do well.
“We will prepare as we usually do and I need to check two or three injury doubts. We are certainly looking forward to it though, being three wins from three.”
Kick-off at Dukes Park is at 3pm on Saturday.
