On Sunday, there were more than 1,300 finishers in the Beverley 10K and Bridlington Road Runners were well represented with 32 members taking part.
Phill Taylor put in a great performance to finish in second place with a time of 33:49 behind Phillip Tedd of the Thames Hare and Hounds club.
Martin Booth was the first V60 and Bob Eyre was once again the first V70 and there were several people who had either personal bests or season best times.

It was the second race in the club’s 10K Challenge and the leaders are currently Booth (98pts) and Eyre (95pts) for the men and Verona Petty (92pts) and Tina Calthorpe (88pts) for the Women.
The Beverley Fun Run results have still to be published but it is known that Shaun Foster finished second in a time of 8:09.
Meanwhile, over in Leeds, three members took part in the Plusnet Half Marathon. These were Kevin Lewis 1:41:55, Carolyn Allanson 1:53:59 and Anthony Hughes 1:53:35.
Up on the North Yorkshire coast, Dave Foster ran in the tough off-road Ravenscar Half Marathon completing the course in 2:30:00.
Lastly, two members ran in Parkruns which were further afield. Patricia Bielby recorded 25:56 at Huddersfield and Pete Royal 25:40 at Hartlepool.
