Children can keep boredom at bay during the school summer holidays at a week-long multi-sport camp at Bridlington RUFC.
Kyle Dench, who now plays for Harrogate, will be returning to familiar territory to run the sessions at Dukes Park in August.
He is PE leader at ACES (Active Community Education in Sport), a specialist sports education company working in schools and the community to improve provision of sport for all.
It will be running the camp between 10am and 3pm from August 10 to August 14 and bookings can be made now.
Camp coordinator Joe Rowntree said: “ACES sports camps are for all children aged six to 16, with an interest in playing sports irrespective of ability or experience.
“Each day will include rugby sessions alongside a range of different sports, such as dodgeball, dance, football, rounders, tennis, athletics, cricket, team-building and more.
“Within these sessions of rugby and multi-sport, the campers will develop a range of skills such as leadership, communication and organisational skills.
“Certificates will be awarded on the final day for children whi have best demonstrated our camp values of respect, happiness and teamwork.”
ACES staff are all specialist sports coaches and teachers, DBS-checked and first aid trained.
The cost is £40 for the week or £10 per day.
Children will need to take PE kit, football or rugby boots, a mouthguard and a healthy lunch and a water bottle.
