Bridlington 1sts completed the double over Wath Upon Dearne, with a 36-10 win at Moor Road.
Despite travelling without director of rugby Rich Girking, who was away on holiday, they made a lightning start and found themselves 10-0 up inside four minutes.
Will Davies and PJ Freeman both crossed the line early on, although neither try was converted, and there was no further scoring in the first half.
Wath’s Brad Taylor scored a try soon after the interval, but Gareth Roberts stretched Bridlington’s lead to 15-5 on 50 minutes.
Taylor went over again with 12 minutes to go, but it was too far out wide for full back Sam Jones to add the conversion.
Davies added his second try before Stevie Mellonby celebrated his return to the first team by taking centre stage.
He converted Davies’ effort, added a try of his own and kicked the conversion to put the visitors out of sight at 29-10.
In added time, number eight James Thompson added a sixth Bridlington try, and Mellonby kicked an extra two points.
