The latest round of the East Hull Harriers Summer League was a 10km race at Coniston.
Bridlington Road Runners had some excellent results, despite the heavy rain showers.
Danny Brunton was fifth in 35.06, Ashley Porter was the club’s first junior male in 41.32, and Janet Potter continued her excellent form ,to finish as first Bridlington women and first LV60 in 45.14.
Emma Artley was next home and first LV35 in 46.15., while Kirsten Porter continues to improve and was fifth in the handicap system.
On a sunny Saturday morning, 29 Road Runners took advantage of the glorious weather to take part in the weekly Sewerby Parkrun 5km.
Brunton was first home in 17.44, with Lewis Dale seventh in 20.29, Duncan Smart ninth in 20.35 and Martin Booth completing the top 10 in 20.41.
Zoe Ruston was third lady on the day in 23.33.
Elsewhere, Ashley, Kirsten and Simon Porter, along with Amanda Tindall, took part in the Rother Valley Parkrun, with Simon achieving a personal best time of 20.57.
Patricia Bielby competed in the Huddersfield Parkrun, finishing the 5km course in 24.48.
Tony Smith completed the Lake District Ultimate Trails 110k Challenge, an epic run which included six mountain passes, five lakes and 1400ft of ascent and decents. He completed this all in an impressive 18 hours 45 minutes.
Sunday saw three club members taking part in the Withernsea Five Mile. Josh Taylor (33.49), Pete Royal (39.14) and Lyn Gent (47.40) all enjoyed the day.
Anthony Hughes took part in the Great North 10k, running to raise money for Barnardos, for whom he has already collected around £900. He achieved a fantasic time of 46.41.
