The traditional fleet review at Bridlington harbour marked the official start of the 158th Royal Yorkshire Yacht Club regatta.
Local boats will compete against crews from up and down the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire coast in a week of racing in the bay.
The action began on Saturday morning with the ladies race and the cadets race.
In the cruiser class, Aquaholic led the way in the early part of the week ahead of Starchick, Chaotic and Sunfire, who won the opening race but did not finish the next one.
Ghost won three of the first four events in the squib class to take pole position from Perkers.
Blackie and Mona were the first two home each time in the Yorkshire One Design races, with Blackie edging ahead in the standings.
Prize-giving takes place tonight with the final event, the Guy Shackles Race, setting off at 4.30pm tomorrow.
