Football, rugby, netball, boxing and volleyball will all form part of this weekend’s Bridlington Beach Sports Festival.
Now in its eighth year, the event on the south beach, near to the park and ride station runs from 11am to 3.30pm on Sunday.
As well as organised football, volleyball and rugby tournaments, there will be walking netball, a mobile skatepark, petanque and tennis activities.
Coun Richard Burton, portfolio holder for civic wellbeing and culture, said: “The Beach Sports Festival is always a great day out and is packed full of fun activities. There’s something for everyone to try and enjoy.
“So why not come along and take part in this year’s festival? Bring a picnic and celebrate one of the East Riding’s fantastic award-winning beaches.”
