More than 600 people have signed up for the Bridlington Half Marathon, and there are still a few days left for entries.
The race takes place on Sunday, October 18, setting off from the seafront at 10am.
The closing date for entries is Monday, and runners can complete the online entry form at www.bridlingtonrr.co.uk.
Bridlington Half Marathon was first held in 1983 and still attracts a large field of runners from far and wide.
The course heads out into the countryside via Sewerby, Flamborough and Bempton before passing through Sewerby Hall’s grounds and returning to Bridlington and the seafront finish.
There will also be a fun run, starting at 10:15am, and entries for that will be taken on the day from 8am, at the race HQ at Jerome’s.
Meanwhile, Bridlington Road Runners junior Shaun Foster completed the 2.5km Great Yorkshire Run at Sheffield in six minutes and 33 seconds, more than a minute faster than last year.
