ALEX Belt has continued his great run of form with two trophies in a week.
Last Monday and Tuesday he won the PGA Brough Classic by two shots on -6.
Then on Sunday, he claimed the Yorkshire PGA Pro-Am at Hornsea with a six-under-par 66, three clear of the original course record, but unfortunately it doesn’t stand as it was preferred lies.
He said: “I’m having a great run at the minute mentally, the formula and routines I’ve developed alongside my psychologist and swing coach feel to be the part that is making the difference to my performances.
“I seem to be riding a confidence wave at the moment which is giving me great belief that I can keep delivering solid technical and mental performances each tournament I play.
He is currently sixth in the PGA Europro Tour standings with a prize fund of over £7,000 after five events.
