Hole-in-one at Captain’s Day

Rabbit captain Neil Murray hosted his Captain’s Day at Flamborough Head Golf Club on Sunday.

The competition was an individual stableford from a shotgun start off full handicap and it was split into two divisions with prizes for Tigers (0-15 handicaps) and Rabbits (16-28).

A special prize was given to Mel Meakin for a hole-in-one on the par-four second hole.

The winners of the Tigers’ prizes were Barry Rhodes with 42 points and Arthur Hall, who was one point behind.

The Rabbits’ winners were Gordon Fawley with 44 points, Ray Trufit with 45 and, winning the Captain’s Prize with 46 points, Ben Massey.

The captain thanked all the competitors for making it a memorable day for him.
