At Flamborough Head Golf Club, the men played a Betterball Medal, and on a cold and blustery morning the scoring proved to be very good with Kenny Miller and Ray Trufit taking the honours with a nett 62 from Tony Fozard and Tom Lambert with a 63 taking second place.
There were five cards on 64 and with a better back six and taking third place were Scott Cooper and Daz Taylor.
The Mid Month Medal played last Thursday was won by Stephen Hirst with a superb score of 71 (nett 65), reducing his handicap from six to five. In second place Neil Murray on 66 and third was Dave Hornsey with a nett 68.
Sunday saw the April Medal, incorporating the ERU Qualifier. The winners of each division play in the final which is on the Flamborough course on 15 June. Going through in Division One was Gary Matthews, Terry Maskill and Dale Hoggard won Division Two and Three.
