Two more Bridlington gymnasts will be heading to Florida to compete on the international stage later this year.
Sammie Kershaw and Ruby Simpson will be joining team-mate Leah Colman on the plane to America after qualifying for the IAIGC World Championships in June.
They booked their places at the Orlanda event after stunning results at the UK Gymnastics Association four-piece national finals earlier this month.
Sammie, 14, and 11-year-old Ruby returned from Milton Keynes with four medals each and finished top of their respective age groups.
It will be the first time that Bridlington Gymnastics Club will have been represented at such a prestigious level and coach Linda Deamer said: “We were once again totally amazed by the girls qualifying but so proud of their achievement.
“We have now gone into overdrive to try and raise enough money to send all three girls and a coach to Florida, to what could be a once-in-a-lifetime achievement.
“We are a totally voluntary run club so if there is anyone out there that could help in getting the girls to Florida, please contact the club via e-mail at email@example.com or phone 07872 479551.”
