BRIDLINGTON Swimming Club’s longest swim Championship – 800m or 32 lengths of the pool – was held at Leisure World on Sunday evening.

The thought of swimming 32 lengths sounds daunting but to do it in less than 10 minutes is amazing.

Sister and brother Grace and William Dennis both achieved this to set new club records.

Seventeen swimmers attempted the challenging event. The coaches were delighted with their performance.

Swimming with commitment, determination and enthusiasm every swimmer gained a personal best time.

Trophies, medals and pennants were presented to the first five places.
