Bridlington’s promising boxers, including a number of the town’s regional and national champions, will be in action at the Spa tomorrow night.
The youngsters have been working hard at the gym with all of them keen to pick up a win on the club’s home show in the impressive surroundings of the Royal Hall.
Head coach Damien Grant said: “We are looking at around 16 bouts with a full bill of home boxers ranging from 10-year olds up to experienced senior boxers.
“We will have opponents travelling from all over Yorkshire and further afield, with some coming from nearby clubs but some are travelling from as far as Scotland to perform on the show.”
Bouts are being lined up for Harvey Asquith, Bryan Keown, Josh Jones, Otis Hirst, Ted Pithers, Harvie Retallic, Arlen Smith, Emily Asquith, Jack Marshall, James Precious, Tom Boyes, Ben Malone, Leah Smith, Charlotte Jarvis, George Johnson and Roan Stanley.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children under 12, are available from the Spa box office.
