The monthly medal was played at the Bridlington Links in typical breezy conditions.

The round of the day came from Paul Portlock who carded an excellent 78 gross, which off a handicap of 11, netted 67.

Portlock got off to a great start with a birdie down the first which led to an excellent 37 from the front nine.

Indeed, had it not been for a double bogey on the 18th the score could have been much better.

Needless to say, Portlock won the first division at a canter from Tam McEwan 72 (86-14) in second place and Nigel Connell 72 (81-9) in third.

Jamie Lowe continued his fine run of form winning division two with a nett 70 (90-20) having only just moved up into this division.

Paul Martin was second with 71 (87-16) and Colin Steptoe third also with 71 (88-17).

Third division winner was Roy Porter with 69 (92-23). and it was good to see his name back in the frame.

Second place was taken by Taffy Davies 72 (95-23) and third by Maurice Jocelyn 72 (95-23).

There were nine twos from Matt Whitehead, Alan Olbison, Nick Belt, Nigel Connell, Colin Steptoe, Paul Martin, Dave Kerr, Guy Lakin and Steve Chadwick.
