Eight Bridlington Road Runners took part in a warm and sunny Humber Bridge Half Marathon on Sunday.
Phill Taylor finished third on the day in phenomenal time of 1:14:39.
Josh Taylor came home in 1:38:21, while Emma Artley continues to run well and clocked 1:47:14, closely followed by Simon Knowles in 1:49:37.
Jane Welbourn was home in 2:01:31, Julie Madden in 2:02:52, Lyn Gent in 2:15:31 and Tina Calthorpe in 2:45:30.
Two members of the club took part in the fun run on the same day, junior Shaun Foster’s 16:44 secured sixth place and Robert Calthorpe finished in 30 minutes.
The City of Hull Champagne League race was one of the longer routes and two Bridlington runners completed the 8.4 miles last Tuesday, Scott Hargreaves in 56:48 and Dave Foster in 1:17:07.
A sunny Saturday morning drew out the runners at Sewerby Parkrun.
Hargreaves was fourth in 18:42, with Zoe Ruston finishing first lady with a time of 23:02, although she was pushed all the way by Janet Potter, who was just a few seconds behind in 23:13.
Danny Brunton achieved a personal best time of 16:44 at the Hull Parkrun, while Patricia Bielby ran well in Huddersfield, finishing in 25:03.
