Emily Asquith will become the third Bridlington girl to box in a national final when she travels to Grantham in the Schools Championships on Saturday
The 13-year-old has progressed quickly through the championships, due to a lack of female entrants at her weight.
Asquith has trained for a number of years but only recently started competing and after a number of skills bouts, she had an impressive debut contest at the Spa in March, where she won with a third round stoppage.
She will follow in the footsteps of clubmates Leah Smith and Charlotte Jarvis, who have boxed in national finals in the last two years.
“I’m proud to represent Bridlington and Yorkshire, but even prouder to represent my club Bridlington ABC,” she said.
“I’d like to thank my coaches, anybody that has cornered me at my contests, anybody that’s sparred with me so I have more fight boxing experience and anyone who has supported me along the way.”
