A late morning shower delayed the start at Bolton Percy by 15 minutes and reduced the game to 46 overs per side.
The hosts won the toss and chose to bowl first. Bridlington were soon in trouble with the top three batmen all back in the pavilion with only 14 scored.
Richard Lount joined Nick Tennant and they took the score to 60 with Lount playing positively but, due to the slow outfield, not getting the full value his shots deserved.
Tennant fell for 17, and was followed by another quick wicket, leaving Bridlington on 73/5 after 27 overs.
Andy Leeson then batted well and with Lount took the score on to 142 before Lount fell for an excellent 68.
Leeson was well caught after making a good 33 and the tail end were soon dismissed as Bridlington were all out for 154 inside 43 overs with Green taking 5-50.
The Bolton Percy reply got off to a good start as they reached 37/0 from 10 overs. Spin was introduced into the attack and Casey Rudd picked up two wickets as he and Steve Janney built the pressure on the Bolton Percy batsman.
Simon Leeson came into the attack and bowled accurately and started to pick up wickets including the Bolton Percy captain Malloch (28) as the middle order had no answer to the Bridlington bowlers.
Rudd and Leeson took six wickets for 26 runs to put the home team deep in trouble at 73/6.
John Major picked up two wickets in two balls with his off spin and Leeson picked up the final two wickets to finish with excellent figures of 6-11 off his 9.5 overs,
