The Hilderthorpe School dodgeball team travelled to Hull University last week to defend their title as Humber champions.
They were representing the East Riding at the Level Three event.
The competition comprised of a round robin format with each fixture the best of three.
A final fixture was played to decide the final positions for the best two teams from the group stage.
Hilderthorpe played two teams from North East Lincolnshire, Edward Heneage and Fairfield, winning both matched.
They also won their two matches against Hull teams Francis Askew and Bricknell and beat fellow East Riding representatives Snaith.
They then went on to beat Bottesford from North Lincolnshire, but met their match against Winterton, losing 2-1.
Hilderthorpe then went through to the final against Winterton to decide first and second places.
The team rallied and showed some excellent teamwork to win the game, retaining their crown as Humber champions and taking the title for the second year in a row.
