Officials have announced the line-ups for the divisions in this season’s Driffield Football League.
But the fixtures won’t be announced for a few more days in the hope that an extra team or two will sign up for the forthcoming campaign.
At present, there will be two groups of nine teams, although another team can be accommodated at this late stage, and there have been suggestions that a couple of the existing sides are short of numbers.
The Premier Division will be made up of Bridlington Excelsior, Bridlington Rovers, Burton Agnes, promoted Coachman and Driffield Star, last season’s winners Flamborough, Martonian, Martonian United and Stirling Wanderers.
The nine teams in Division One will be newcomers AFC United of Driffield, Bridlington Trinity (formerly Crown), Bridlington Trinity Reserves, Bridlington Club for Young People and Bull and Sun who have joined up, Flamborough 2nds, Nafferton, North Frodingham and Spread Eagle, who played as Full Measure last year.
