Bridlington Excelsior picked up the John Burchett Challenge Cup after a hard-fought final against Burton Agnes Blue Bell.
Lee Williamson headed them into the lead around the half-hour mark, but the Division One champions pulled level when Dom Richardson’s effort was deflected beyond Ian Pearson.
With extra time looming at Queensgate, Excelsior were awarded a penalty when substitute Graham Deegan handled in the area. Jaimie Chapman made no mistake, but Blue Bell responded and almost equalised for a second time but a wicked free kick hit the crossbar.
Excelsior then grabbed a third on the break in injury time as Joey Baker ran clear and found the corner of the net to seal the victory.
