The Driffield and District League Premier Division was affected by the weather again on Saturday, with only one of the four scheduled matches going ahead.
Gypsey Road and Matson Road pitches were declared unfit, so the only game to go ahead was at Flamborough, and they beat Burton Agnes 4-1, with Nathan Bristow scoring twice to add to goals by Liam Price and Gideon Jones.
Boro are now top of the table, the sixth different side to lead the eight-team division this season
In Division One, Bridlington Snooker Centre hastily rearranged a game at Full Measure, and almost came away with a point.
After bouncing back from 3-0 down to equalise through a Georgie walker double and a John-Paul Kenneally strike, they conceded in the last minute as Measure’s Ej Preston snatched the points.
A double from youngster Paul Kellington and a Shaun Tate effort helped Driffield Star to a 3-1 win over Flamborough 2nds. with Cal Charlton replying for Boro.
Bottom club Nafferton United scored four times but it was still not enough as they went down 7-4 to Bridlington Sports Club Reserves.
Joe Reynolds and Andrew Stamper both hit doubles, with Terry Whatling, Harvey Slater and Will Hodgson also on target.
