Burlington Jackdaws celebrated 10 years of junior football with an awards night extravanganza.
The club took over the Spa Royal Hall for an end-of-season party on a bigger scale than ever before.
Tables were decorated in the club’s red and black colours and former Hull City goalkeeper Gavin Kelly and Bridlington Town defender Chris Jenkinson stepped on stage to help to present some of the trophies.
Jackdaws’ 10th season saw the club’s Under 13s win the Wyke Division of the Hull Boys Sunday League, as well as a number of notable individual performances.
Chairman Chris Kirkham said: Celebrating 10 years at the Spa was always on the agenda though we were only handed the main hall days before.
“From 2006, and the back room of Queens Hotel with one team to May 2016, a tremendous amount of work has been put in by volunteers, as we continue to build into the next 10 years and it’s safe to say a legacy is being built , which ultimately gives kids more opportunity to play football.”
