BECKETT LEAGUE: Sewerby stun Filey as Coates claims 5-15
Mike Artley’s 56 and 42 from Peter Davies helped Sewerby post 154-9 before Coates’ 5-15 helped ensure Filey fell short on 116, Dave Brannan top-scoring with 26.
Nick Zakrzewski continued his fine season with the bat as he made a superb unbeaten 118 to help Scarborough to the top of the table courtesy of an 88-run win over Folkton & Flixton 2nds.

Hide AdZakrzewski carried Scarborough to 172-7 as the rest of the batting order failed to contribute, Freddie Gunning bagging three-for.
Gunning then hit 40 but Flixton could only make 84-6.
Bridlington 2nds also took advantage of Filey’s defeat as they beat Scalby to go level on points in second place.
Harry Burton tok 4-26 and Andy Smith 3-8 as Scalby were 100 all out, James Ledden making 33.
Greg Miller then hit an unbeaten 35 and Matthew Rennoldson finished on 32 not out as Brid cruised home.

Hide AdSherburn moved up to fourth spot after a 35-run win against Staxton.
Staithes and Nawton Grange continue to dominate Zone Two and they will both contest the play-offs after picking up victories.
Table-toppers Staithes cruised to a nine-wicket win at Heslerton.
Chris Morrison took 4-13 as Heslerton were restricted to 73-9 before Staithes cruised to 74-1, Brad Lewis finishing on 37 not out and Callum Horne 27 not out.

Hide AdNawton Grange stayed just a point behind Staithes in second after beating Settrington by nine wickets.
Adam Morley made 44 but Settrington were restricted to 102-8, Joe Judge taking 4-20.
Nick Thornicroft and Charlie Allott both made 51 to guide Grange to victory.
Ebberston edged a nine-run victory against Wykeham.
The hosts ended up on 96-7, Jack Holt taking 3-21.
Despite Holt then hitting 34, Wykeham fell short of their revised target for victory, finishing up on 87 all out as Jonty Megginson took 3-12.
Great Habton cruised to a 10-wicket win over Thornton Dale.
Dale were all out for just 49 before Habton made it safely to 50-0.
