Jordan Wharton’s powerful 70 from 64 balls got the hosts off to a flyer, sharing an opening stand of 91 with Ash Oldroyd (66no) as they posted 175-7.

Andy Leeson’s 72 out in reply was the mainstay of Brid’s innings but they slumped to 118 all out, Wharton taking 3-10 to cap a fine all-round day.

Forge Valley 2nds went are now in top spot after a five-wicket success at 10-man Brompton 2nds on Saturday.

Daniel Boyes took 4-34 as Brompton were dismissed for 125, John Flinton’s 32 then steering Valley to the win.

Jack Carradice-Clarkson snapped up a brilliant 6-16 as second-placed Flamborough won by six wickets at home to Wykeham 3rds.

The visitors slumped to 78 all out, Mark Abram’s 27 not out wrapping up the triumph.

Scarborough 3rds eased to a 10-wicket win at home to eight-man Scalby 3rds.

The villagers limped to 78-6 in 40 overs, Stephen Shannon hitting 26. Brad Milburn (51no) and captain James Denton (26no) then sealed the win in just 12.5 overs with 81-0.

Ravenscar 2nds suffered a four-wicket loss at Malton & Old Malton 4ths.

Jon Murrell top-scored with 48no and Jon Stokoe added 31 as the visitors posted 168-7, Harry Johnson taking 3-38.

Opener Michael Tierney’s excellent 84, allied to Tom Tyson’s 45no, saw Malton to victory with 2.1 overs to spare.

Glaisdale took top spot in Division Three with a nine-wicket home win against 10-man Filey 2nds.

Graham Featherstone took 4-16 as Filey slumped to 46 all out in 19.4 overs, the hosts hitting 48-1 in 11.3 overs.

Muston went third with a 23-run victory at home to Malton & Malton 3rds.

The hosts slumped to 23-4 but Mathew Hall-Atkinson (57) and Philip Hoyle (46) steered them to 150 all out, Tom Barker taking 4-21.

Kyle Orange and Dave Meer then took 3-28 and 3-11 respectively as Malton slumped to 127 all out, Ethan Smith top-scoring with 26.

George Hodgson was the all-round star as Pickering 3rds earned a shock eight-wicket win at home to Scarborough RUFC on Sunday

Hodgson took 3-15 and Keith Barber 3-29 as Pickering posted 152-9, George Elliott hitting 32no, Ryan Hamblett 30 and Brett Canham 29.

Hodgson then smacked 53no and Bri Leckenby 55 as the Pikes strolled to the win.

Nawton Grange 2nds won by five wickets at home to 10-man Folkton & Flixton 3rds.

Nathan Marwood took 3-19 as Flixton were all out for 79.

Reece Wilson’s 3-30 failed to stop Grange from winning.

Ravenscar v Great Habton 2nds was cancelled.

Great Habton remain top of Division One after their 11-run win at home to Wykeham.

Habton opener John Lumley struck 61 and tail-ender Ben Hurst a crucial 36 not out helped the hosts to 161 all out, Adam Eustace snapping up 3-16 and Tom Owen 3-24.

Ricky Nock then hit 34, opener Michael Dugdale 30 and James Bryant 25 but fine bowling from Jordan Allanby (4-25) and Ryan Vance (3-18) saw Wykeham all out for 151.

Second-placed Folkton & Flixton 2nds stayed in touch with Habton after their six-wicket victory at Forge Valley.

Charlie Colley scooped 4-34 and Lee Elvidge 3-32 as Valley were dismissed for 11, Sean Pinder hitting 41.

Cameron Anderson’s 28no steered Flixton to victory.

Third-placed Heslerton won by six wickets at basement club Settrington.

Opener Charlie Coulson carried his bat for 54no from 139 balls as Setty posted 149-5, Stephen Beal adding 31 and Richard Reynolds 29, while Matty Webster took 3-38.

Openers Ryan Wharton (43) and Rob Middlewood (32) then paved the way for the win for Heslerton.

Sewerby powered to a 128-run win at home to Cayton 2nds.

Mike Artley’s outstanding 91no was the driving force for Sewerby, with fine knocks from openers Steve Kitching (55) and Dan Artley (51) helping them to 253-7.

Toby Jones’ defiant 55 was not enough to stop Cayton slipping to 125 all out, spinner Craig Ward taking a superb 5-31.

All-rounder Kyle Outhart shone as Sherburn eased to a 107-run win at Thornton Dale.

Outhart smacked a magnificent 76, while Dean Foxton fell two runs short of a half-century and Jack Pickard struck 46 as the visitors posted 235-7, Cameron Cooper taking 3-31.

Outhart then snapped up 3-20 as Dale slipped to 128 all out, Lewis White hitting 26.
