Sewerby CC held its first sixes tournament on Sunday, with eight local teams playing for the Carl Robinson Memorial Trophy.

It was a hot, sunny day on the cliff top withy both pitches being used for some fast-paced and exciting cricket. Runs were flowing and all teams entered into the spirit of what was a fun day but also with serious competition.

The final was between Bridlington CC and Josh’s Exiles, a team only brought together in the morning. The more experienced Bridlington side scored an excellent 80 in their five overs and the young Exiles fell 30 runs short in reply.
