Bridlington sit just outside the York Senior League Division One promotion places after they got the better of a high scoring draw at home to Malton & Old Malton.
Nick Tennant (54) and Simon Leeson (49) were once again in the runs, both having scored half-centuries last week, as the home side totalled 241/8.
Ryan Gaughan was the pick of the bowlers finishing with 3-56.
Gary Hall made 73 in the visitors’ reply of 221/8, Leeson finishing with 4-62 in a thoroughly absorbing contest.
Adrian Long turned in a match winning performance for Sewerby as they won the basement battle against Osbaldwick.
The all-rounder took 3-44 and in tandem with Robin Coates (3-35) restricted the away side to 173/9, which included 40 from Jonny Rawsthorne.
Long then top scored with 33 as the home side recorded back-to-back wins with a couple of overs to spare.
