The School Sport Partnership held its 11th annual Sports Awards at Longcroft School in Beverley, where pupils were joined by British Olympic cyclist, Rob Hayles.
The categories for the awards were Outstanding Achievement in PE, Outstanding Achievement in Sport, Leadership and Volunteering, Out of School Hours Learning, Outstanding School Team and Sports Personality.
The partnership includes 44 primary schools, seven secondary schools and one special school.
Development manager Angel Rhodes said: “It’s really important that the SSP recognises all of the amazing achievements of our young people across the area.
“A huge thank you to all of the schools for their continued support of the partnership and congratulations to all of the pupils on their awards.”
Winners and runners up for Outstanding Individual Performance in Sport included Niamh Hall from Martongate Primary, Ruby Simpson of Burlington Juniors and Abigail Wallace of Hilderthorpe Primary.
Winners and runners up for Outstanding Commitment to Extra Curricular included Cerys Reece of Bridlington School, Alexandra Kynman of Headlands School, Emily Pye of Bridlington School and Rhea Richardson of Headlands School
