A woman said further education is needed to stop people from endangering their lives by climbing cliffs near Bridlington.
Janine Ward of North Landing, Flamborough, spotted these youngsters perilously perched half-way-up the cliffs near her home.
She said: “It happens regularly and it’s usually young people. The next thing is the Coastguard helicopter is called because they can’t get back down again. In this case I think they managed to get off themselves.”
The Coastguard said that when walking near cliffs sure that you are properly equipped for walking along coastal paths, Do not attempt to climb up or down cliffs and always call 999 in an emergency.
