The grounds of Burton Agnes Hall were bustling with families enjoying the fine weather over the Easter weekend.

The main attraction was the popular Easter Egg Hunt, which ran over Sunday 20 and Monday 21 April, with hundreds of excited youngsters scouring the grounds for thousands of hidden chocolate eggs.

Anna Tindall, marketing manager at Burton Agnes Hall, said: “We had over 3,000 visitors at the Hall, it was a really good turn out and probably our best year yet.

“It is a very family oriented event. We had the trail around the grounds with youngsters having to find the golden egg and the Easter bunny was around making balloon animals.

“I just think families are looking for fun stuff to do together and we put on lots of great activities for families. Easter Sunday was our best day yet, we had lots of families visiting.”

A range of festive activities have been on at Burton Agnes Hall, including an Easter Trail which started on Saturday 12 and continues until this Sunday, 27 April.
