A second child has been knocked down by a car in Bridlington in less than a week.
A call came in to police at 1649hrs yesterday reporting a child having been in collision with a vehicle on Marton Rd in Bridlington earlier in the afternoon.
The Free Press understands the youngster involved did not have to attend hospital following the incident.
Police are looking into reports that a vehicle did not stop following the collision.
This comes after an 11-year-old girl was run over on Marton Gate on Friday 14 November on her way home from school.
She was airlifted to James Cook Hospital and was left with a broken cheekbone and a few bumps and bruises.
