Woman allegedly punched in face by man in Bridlington coach park

A woman was allegedly punched in the face by a man in a Bridlington coach park.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the alleged assault which happened at around 4.30pm in the Hilderthorpe Road Coach Park on Tuesday March 12.

A 21-year-old woman was allegedly walking past a group of four people near the coach park when she got into a verbal argument with the group.

One member of the group, a white man aged around 30 years, is then alleged to have punched the woman in the face.

She sought treatment for bruising at Bridlington Hospital.
